Arcot Bhaskar, M.D.  received his degree from Madras Medical College in India (1974) and spent the next two years in Internal Medicine at Sunderland General Hospital, Sunderland, England.  In 1977 he moved to the United States for his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, New York (affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, 1977-80).  He served as Chief Resident  from 1980-81 and then as a Fellow in Gastroenterology from 1981-83 also at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.  He entered private practice in 1983.  His office is at 2055 Hospital Drive, Suite 255, Batavia, Ohio.  He serves on the medical staff of Clermont Mercy Hospital and also has privileges at Anderson Mercy Hospital, Brown County General Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, Jewish Hospital, and Christ  Hospital.  Dr. Bhaskar is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He enjoys all aspects of patient care and has a special interest in ERCP, an endoscopic procedure which examines the biliary and pancreatic ducts.  Dr. Bhaskar is married with two children.  He enjoys playing tennis and golf.
