Andrew Deak, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in classics from Xavier University in 1967 and his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 1971.  He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.  He spent two years with the U.S. Air Force stationed in both Thailand and Boston.  Dr. Deak completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology in 1978 at the University of Cincinnati.  He serves on the medical staffs of Good Samaritan Hospital and Mercy Franciscan Hospital.  Dr. Deak is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and he has a special interest in laser therapy.  He was actively involved in teaching Gastroenterology to second-year Internal medicine residents at Good Samaritan Hospital.  His office is located at 3248 Westbourne Drive in Western Hills.  Dr. Deak also does many procedures at a nearby independent endoscopy center.  Dr. Deak and his wife Mary Ann live in Western Hills.  They have five adult children.
