Vinayak S.Kulkarni, M.D. graduated first in his class from the Government Medical College in Aurangabad, India in 1969.  His initial certification was from the British Royal College of Physicians in 1974.  He came to the United States and completed a medical residency at the Misericordia Hospital in Bronx, New York in 1977.  He served from 1978 - 1982 in the U.S. Air Force stationed in California and then came to Cincinnati for a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  Dr. Kulkarni entered private practice in 1984.  His primary office is at 8260 Northcreek Dr. in Kenwood.  He also sees patients at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ohio.  He serves on the medical staffs of Jewish Hospital and Highland District Hospital.  Dr. Kulkarni is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and was recertified in Internal Medicine in 1987.  His wife is a practicing anesthesiologist.  Dr. Kulkarni has three children, two of whom are in college.  His outside interests are reading, classical music, and travel.
