Harold V. Loewenstine, M.D. received his  B.A. in psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1981 (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and his  M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in 1985.  He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital which is affiliated with Wright State School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1990.  Dr. Loewenstine's private practice is located in the Christ Hospital Medical Office Building at 2123 Auburn Ave.  He also sees patients at the Jewish Hospital Mason Professional Building, the Bethesda North Blue Ash Facility, and at locations in Kings Mills and Lebanon, OH.  Dr. Loewenstine has staff privileges at Christ Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Bethesda Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Anderson Mercy Hospital, Clermont Mercy Hospital, and Children's Hospital.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He enjoys all aspects of patient care in both Gastroenterology and Hepatology but has special interests in chronic liver  disease, viral hepatitis, colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, biliary/pancreatic disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and therapeutic endoscopy.
