Marvin J. Lopez, M.D., grew up in a medical family in Columbia, MO, and received his B.S. in Biology from Indiana University and his M.D. from Ohio State University.  In 1996, he moved to Boston where he completed both his Internal Medicine residency (1999) and his fellowship in Gastroenterology (2002) at Tufts University's New England Medical Center.  A large extended family in the Midwest helped to attract Dr. Lopez to Cincinnati, and he joined Digestive Health Network in August 2002; he maintains his primary office in Anderson Township at 6620 Clough Pike and an additional office in Clifton at 2123 Auburn Ave.  Board-certified in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology, Dr. Lopez speaks fluent Spanish.  Although he enjoys all aspects of Gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy, Dr. Lopez has special training in endoscopic ultrasound.  His family includes Marvin's wife, Patricia, and their two young children, all of whom are busy enjoying Cincinnati's parks and zoo, the Newport Aquarium, and the variety of Cincinnati's restaurants.
